Kick-Start

This is for children aged 4 to 6, of all abilities and is perfect for beginners & newcomers

Hub 

This is for children aged 7 to 11 playing in the the Southern Hub in the Geelong region

Junior 

This is for Junior players U12 to 18 in the Geelong Region (male and female)

Senior State League 4 Men 

This is for male players competing in the Metro League

Senior Women's 

This is for female players competing in the local Senior Women's Competition in Geelong

Sunday Men's 

This is for male players competing in the local Geelong Region Men's Competition

HOW TO REGISTER

All players must be registered with the Football Federation of Australia (FFA), pay a registration fee in full and receive an FFA number before they can play for the Club. 

 

Your registration package includes:

  • FFA and FV fees

  • Insurance

  • Presentations

  • Equipment

  • Referee fees and

  • Club membership


The playing kit (socks, shorts and shirt) is provided with your registration fees and can be kept at the end of the season. Additional uniform items such as tracksuits, uppers and other merchandise items can be purchased from the club via our website.

Registration and membership fees are payable annually and are valid for the current calendar year.
 

Registration must completed online via the FFA website. 

To register, visit www.playfootball.com.au, click the Register Now link and follow the instructions.

To ensure you are registering for the Surf Coast Football Club, you can use this link.

 

Otherwise, ensure you select our club at the appropriate time.

  • Select the age group that you/your child wants to register for in 2021. For example Mini Roos (Age 4-11), Juniors (Age 11-17). Please ensure you register for the correct age group.

  • Select “start my registration” on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

  • You will be shown all the products your club has on offer. Select the product that you have been informed to select by your club. If you are unsure of which product to select please email admin@surfcoastfc.com before completing your registration. Please ensure you select the right product to make sure that you are paying the correct fee. For example if you are aged between 9-11 playing in an U12 Junior team you would select Product – Miniroo Player (Aged 9-11) playing in a Junior U12 team. 

  • Participants will be shown a details screen – please update all your details making sure that all fields marked with an * are completed. Additional questions and policies will also be displayed in this step.

  • ALL  registrants must upload a photo. Please pay particular attention to the image guidelines. This must be a recent (in the last 12 months) headshot –  No photo: No play.

  • The next stage is questions regarding International Transfer Clearance (ITC).

  • You now have the option to review your products and make any amendments.

  • Payment stage – You will see a breakdown of your fees. 

  • Payments for registrations are to be made in full online at the time of registration. If you would like to discuss a payment plan, please contact the club via admin@surfcoastfc.com

  • Confirmation of payment.

  • Your registration will be sent through to the Club administrators for approval. Please be aware that registrations may not be approved immediately.

WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

People often ask us what is included in the fees and how we calculate the costs. Here’s an indication, although not a complete list, of the things that need to be covered by your fees.

Registration composition (on top of Club levy) 

  • FV registration fee 

  • FV team entry fee 

  • FV referee fee 

  • FV levy 

  • Lighting 

  • Equipment such as balls, line marking etc 

  • Player insurance 

  • Kit (shirt, shorts, socks) 

  • Training sessions (2) including all equipment 

  • Training courses and resources for Coaches 

  • Ground and club maintenance costs including cleaning 

  • Club Administration costs including website and social media 

  • Levy for Pavilion upgrade 

 

Please note that the above costs are not subsidised by Football Federation Australia, therefore we rely on sponsorship and registrations for coverage. 

 

Please note that the SCFC fee portion has not increased this year however there are two new levies, one for the FV which all clubs will have to manage, the second one is for our new Pavilion upgrade, as the club is required to contribute $100K over the next two years to this project. This is to develop new change rooms, new purpose built sole use club rooms, kitchen and members' area, as well as a new grandstand so spectators will enjoy watching their teams play.
