Surf Coast FC – 2027 Season Overview

The 2027 season is set to be the biggest in Surf Coast Football Club’s history, with record junior participation across our MiniRoos, Community, Advanced, and Senior programs. Building on recent growth, we continue to expand opportunities for players of all abilities through our Junior Boys Community, Junior Boys Advanced, Junior Girls Community, Junior Girls Advanced, and prospective State League Women’s programs.

Junior Girls Advanced Program
Surf Coast FC is excited to announce that our Junior Girls Advanced Program will continue in 2027! Football Victoria is yet to confirm the girls’ competition structure for next season; however, our goal is for our Advanced teams to compete in the Community Premier League—or at a higher level, should the opportunity become available. We look forward to continuing to provide a strong pathway for talented and ambitious female players at Surf Coast FC.

2027 Registration Process

The 2027 season will involve a two-step registration process, requiring both Football Australia registration and Surf Coast FC registration\. Fees for both registrations are required for all participants to remain eligible for training and match participation.

2027 Coaches and Volunteers

As the club grows, volunteers remain central to Surf Coast FC. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate individuals to help lead and support our football community. In particular, we are looking for MiniRoos Coordinators, Junior Coordinators for the Junior Boys Advanced, Junior Girls Community, Under 13 Boys, and Under 15 Boys programs, as well as coaches for our Junior Boys and Junior Girls teams.

2026 Season Conclusion & Summer Football Opportunities

The 2026 season concludes in early September, but football doesn’t stop there\. Players looking to stay active over the summer will have the opportunity to participate in the Torquay Summer Cup, an exciting 5v5 competition \(minimum 7 players per team\) held on Friday nights throughout the summer months\. The competition is expected to be organised and led by Coerver Geelong, delivering a fun, fast\-paced format suitable for all skill levels\.

The Summer Cup will feature a vibrant football atmosphere with music, food provided by the Sports Food Hub, and a range of local vendors, creating a great community event each week\. It’s a fantastic way to gather your teammates, register a team, and enjoy a couple of months of warm\-weather football in a relaxed and social environment\.
