Welcome to the home of Surf Coast Football Club

Located at Banyul-warri Fields, Merrijig Dr Torquay, the Surf Coast Football Club (SCFC) is a strong and inclusive Community Football Club that respects and develops its members by providing an enjoyable, caring and safe environment that the community can be proud of.

We are a club for everyone. Men, women, girls and boys. We encourage participation, teach excellence, and play fair. We promote a spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork that promotes healthy competition. We focus on development of technical skills and tactical understanding, enabling players to reach their highest potential, and instil values that promote strength of character. Pull your boots on and get on board the fastest growing club in the region.

A few words from our Club President

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Surf Coast Football Club. As President (and representing our Committee), I am incredibly proud to lead a club that represents not just a game we all love, but a vibrant and supportive community.

Our members, parents, coaches, committee, volunteers, and sponsors are the heart and soul of SCFC. Every week, I see the dedication, teamwork, and passion that each of you brings — from early morning game-day set-ups to wet and wintery training sessions, from cheering on the sidelines to helping behind the scenes. Your commitment ensures our club continues to grow, thrive, and provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

We are extremely proud to be the 6th largest club in Victoria by playing members in 2025 and the 7th largest by female players and 10th largest for male players.

I am equally proud of the role our club plays in the Surf Coast community. We are more than a football club — we are a place where friendships are made, skills are developed, and values like respect, inclusion, and resilience are lived every day. We take great pride in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong.

I would also like to sincerely thank the Surf Coast Shire for their ongoing support. Their assistance plays a vital role in ensuring our facilities, programs, and opportunities for players continue to develop year after year.

To our players — enjoy the game, challenge yourself, and have fun.
To our families, volunteers, and supporters — thank you for everything you do to make this club what it is.
And to our sponsors — your generosity and belief in our vision help make it all possible.

Here’s to another exciting season for Surf Coast Football Club. I look forward to seeing you at the grounds, sharing in the victories, learning from the challenges, and continuing to grow together as a community.

Child Safe Standards at Surf Coast Football Club

At Surf Coast Football Club, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority. We are committed to creating an environment where all players feel safe, supported, and respected — both on and off the field.

In Victoria, the Child Safe Standards are laws designed to protect children from harm and abuse, and to ensure organisations like ours provide a safe and inclusive environment. These standards guide how we work with children, support our volunteers and coaches, and respond to any concerns.

We encourage all members of our community to speak up if they see or hear anything that doesn’t feel right. Your voice plays a vital role in keeping our club a safe place for everyone.
